From Terry Whalen of the Terry Whalen Band – “Hantsport Music Festival is a true gem…The Terry Whalen Band have had the pleasure of playing many music festivals on the east coast and I can say HMF takes a back seat to no one…incredible energy in front of the stage and second to none behind with a group of volunteers that treated us like kings…Hantsport Music Festival should be a blueprint for how every festival should be run and how bands love to be treated. We would welcome another trip back to Hantsport somewhere down the road. Thanks gang!”

From Matt Minglewood – “Just a note to thank you for an awesome night and to let you know we all appreciate the hard work did producing the Hantsport Musicfest. Matt & the Band had a awesome night, a big thank you for the warmth & hospitality extended to all of us.  You did an awesome job producing this celebration and certainly made sure Matt & his band’s performance was a first-rate experience. Those in attendance were treated to a brilliant night of music from start to finish. There was an abundance of smiles in the crowd. Truly a great testament to the Hantsport community and the support they give to the festival. Hope next year it grows bigger & bigger for you. Well done. Keep smiling” Matt & Barb, Jeff, Emily & Moon

From Darrin Harvey of NNBB and K-Rock – “My perspective on the HMF is a unique one in as much as I wear two hats: Presenting media sponsor (where I work – 89.3 K-Rock) and as performer (with No Name Blues Band). On both fronts this festival is unrivaled. The festival is so well run that, as a radio station you just want to be part of what Kevin and Raye’s team are doing. As a performer I can tell you quite clearly that this is the barometer by which other festivals are measured. Backstage you’ll find cold drinks, hot soup (home made), hot pizza as soon as we left the stage and being paid THAT DAY are all points that any musician would tell you: just do not happen. Bravo Kevin & Raye (and your many volunteers)!”

From Curtis Matheson – “I’ve known Kevin and the Hantsport crew now for a few years, and I must say, they’re amongst the kindest and considerate people I have ever met. I’ve always felt welcomed, appreciated and thrilled about their enthusiasm and hospitality. For any professional musician, all of this goes a long way and should always be recognized.”
